The Cheshire Movement Globally is essentially Voluntary Movement starting from Group Captain Leonard Cheshire V.C., voluntarily taking up the cause of the those with disability, terminally ill and the needy.

It was his vision that led to establishment of more than 250 Cheshire Homes and services in over 52 countries. He firmly believed in volunteerism as the way to provide services that were sustainable. He motivated a large number of persons who volunteered in myriad ways to begin, sustain and expand the services.

Cheshire Home can achieve much more with the help of volunteers, who have been an immense support over the last over six decades of our work.
